Who Are We
Époque Récit was born from both memory and a mission.
I was raised by a strong, single mother who brought up nine of us after we lost everything. Once part of a privileged family, we became political refugees, rebuilding our lives from nothing. In 2008, we visited our first secondhand shop. I remember not wanting to wear the clothes, some were on the floor, uncared for.
That memory shaped me.
Years later, Époque Récit became my answer.
A curated online space where secondhand fashion feels elevated, intentional, and beautiful.
Because I believe everyone deserves access to timeless style and self-expression, no matter their past or present.
There’s something deeply beautiful in what’s been worn, even in what’s been a little broken.
And when we take care of what’s old as if it were new, we don’t just preserve clothes, we preserve meaning.
Our pieces are handpicked with care. We focus on timeless silhouettes, clean cuts, and that elevated preppy touch.
This is not just a secondhand. It’s a new way of seeing the old.
It’s a story, a statement, a second chance, for both the clothes and the person who wears them.
Époque Récit – Wear the story.
